We provide training to unemployed youth specially women in rural areas in various applications of bamboo in construction and handicraft sector.
The training covers plantation , harvesting , treatment , processing and production of value added products such as roofing sheets , flooring tiles ,
scaffolding materials , furniture , baskets & mat weaving and use of bamboo as biomass for power generation and large scale plantation of bamboo on
wasteland .Such training programs open up additional avenues for employment for rural poor and promote eco friendly sustainable development.
